Responsive Design and the Latest Release of Qualtrax.
With the 2013 R2 release, we not only updated the navigation wrapper surrounding all pages, we also incorporated responsive design elements into the new look and feel.
Why is that important?
Responsive web design principles dictate that user experience and functionality do not suffer when a variety of screen sizes and resolutions are used.
Whether resizing the Qualtrax browser window on your desktop to position next to other windows, viewing on a projector, or accessing via an iPad, the interface fluidly scales to accommodate the available real estate.
The screenshots above illustrate that as screen resolution or size decreases, the elements on the page are replaced by smaller icons and logos, as others are merged into a More menu. This preserves functionality without having to scroll or have those options completely removed.
