This month, Qualtrax has been all over the map!
Our Product Manager, Ken Vaughan, hit the road to support our Accreditation Automation project for ASCLD/LAB. In back to back weeks he racked up the frequent flier miles and picked up some cool tradeshow swag:
(Who doesn’t love a skull stressball?)
First up was the ASCLD Symposium in Scottsdale, AZ where he manned the booth and spread the good word about our partnership and the project. The following week he observed a multi-lab full assessment at the Virginia Department of Forensic Science in Richmond, VA. The next week, he was off to Fort Worth, TX to observe another full accreditation with the Tarrant County Crime Lab. The primary goal in each case was to gain a better understanding of the assessment process to bring improvement ideas back to the overall Automation project.

The next trip belongs to our Inside Sales Manager Juliann Poff and Marketing Strategist Jennifer Havens, who traveled to Little Rock, AR to represent Qualtrax at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL).

Finally, our Developer Keith Williams took an exciting personal trip to China. Keith traveled with his brother, who has physical needs and is confined to a wheelchair. His brother was in Hong Kong to present his Ph.D. work at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation. Watch for a blog post in the future with more details and pics from that awesome trip!
