We are growing very quickly here at Qualtrax. So much so that we now have two new team members to introduce you to! Both Katie Berkel and Alyssa Zimmer started recently and we are very excited to have them.

I asked Katie and Alyssa to introduce themselves so that you could learn more about them.

Katie Berkel, our new Business Development Manager, had this to say:

Hello! My name is Katie Berkel and I am joining the Qualtrax team as the new Business Development Manager. I am so excited to get to come on board and help to continue to further develop important partnerships across various industries here at Qualtrax.

Before coming to Qualtrax, I worked for two top technology companies based out of the DC area doing Sales and Training & Development.

Blacksburg, VA (where the Qualtrax headquarters is located) is very close to my heart as a Hokie myself. Graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in Communication and a minor in Business Leadership, I am an avid Hokie sports fan! On the weekends in the fall you can find me tailgating and attending all VT Football games, as well as cheering for my favorite NFL teams.

In my spare time I love to run, be outdoors at a lake or the beach, and try great food/drinks with friends.

I am already loving working at Qualtrax and meeting all the great people within the organization, and am glad I could introduce myself.

Alyssa Zimmer, our new Sales Operations Specialist, wanted you to know this:

Hello! My name is Alyssa Zimmer and I am the new Sales Operations Specialist at Qualtrax.

I have spent the last 4 years in Blacksburg attending Virginia Tech. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing this past December, a full semester early. Prior to this position at Qualtrax, I worked as an intern for the Division of Information Technology at Virginia Tech as a Human Resources Associate, then moved into a Grants and Program Coordinator role. I was the lead on many initiatives within the Division, such as a division-level internship program and a new employee workshop event.

I found out about Qualtrax at a job fair in Radford that I was working for my prior position at the Division of IT.  Qualtrax just so happened to have the booth next to us where I met Ken Vaughan and Scott Goldberg. After some discussion about the product and the company culture, Ken invited us to take a tour of the office the following week. As soon as I stepped in the door, I knew I wanted to be a part of Qualtrax.

Just because one big life decision is not enough for me, I accepted this position with Qualtrax while finishing up my Paralegal Certificate from Boston University and enrolling in a Master’s in Public Administration and Policy through American University.

I’m incredibly excited to be a new member at Qualtrax! The warm welcome I have received has only made me more excited to start this new chapter in my life.

Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know both of our new team members, and keep an eye out for more upcoming new faces!
