‘Twas the night before the audit when through the office
Not a CAPA was stirring, not even a Near Miss;
All the procedures were stored in Qualtrax with care,
Knowing that the auditor would soon be there;
The quality team were nestled all snug in their beds;
While successful audit processes danced in their heads;
I in my cap and the auditors with their crest.
Had just settled for night of peaceful rest.
With the dawn and the opening meeting just started,
Managers and executives present and all the data charted.
Away to Qualtrax I flew in a flash,
To our system documents we made such a splash;
The gleam on a Qualtrax system just installed,
Gave the luster of effectiveness and undoubtable proof to us all.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
Continual Improvement reports came near.
With auditors and teams, so lively and quick,
I knew our audit would be optimistic.
More rapid than eagles, their questions they came,
And we whistled and shouted and called them by name:
“Now NCR! Now CAPA! Now Internal Audit and Training!
On Reporting! On Testing! On, Management Review and Deviation Obtaining!
To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
Now audit away! Audit away! Audit away all!”
As documents and processes before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, Continuous Improvements apply.
So up to the CEO the registrar flew,
To show commitment to the team, and the auditor, too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard the auditor say
The typing of our audit report would happen today.
As I drew in my head and was turning to read,
Out came the report for all of us to see.
The auditor’s eyes—oh how they twinkled! As we reported with merry
Against our standards and clauses to make sure we weren’t weary.
With a wink of his eye and a twist of his head
Our Management Rep let us know we had nothing to dread.
The report addressed all our customer news,
Along with their requirements and evidence, who knew?
A bundle of evidence and sampling was showing
Our Workflow reports, oh my! They are glowing!
He filed the report and spoke so very plain,
About Qualtrax and its worldwide acclaim.
Congratulations on zero findings and finding good measure.
For your business is most definitely an absolute treasure.
He wrapped up the closing meeting to catch his plane,
And sprang to leave when we heard him exclaim,
“Congratulations on Zero Findings and much good work all round,
Now continue ‘till next year and your accreditation will be renowned!”
I want to give a shout out to our Quality Manager Kate Clark, Corrugated Container
Quality Manager Clay Hodges, and our very own Training Guru, Patrick Hatcher,
for their input and creativity in helping with this blog post.
Thanks!! -Juliann
