Rebecca is founder and CEO of ECC Test Lab, an ISO 17025 cannabis testing lab located in Ashland, Virginia. She received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College and an MS in Renewable Energy Engineering from Appalachian State University. Her experience in project management, regulatory and research labs, and business development has facilitated the success and growth of ECC. ECC Test Lab is a SWaM (Small, Women-owned) certified business. An active member of the cannabis community, she is a founding board member of the Southeast Hemp Association. Her focus with SEHA includes advocating for standardization among cannabis testing labs. This includes development of a platform that offers scientifically validated best practices and open communication across cannabis testing laboratories that can be utilized by laboratories, processors, and regulators. Becky is excited to see the sustainable growth of the cannabis industry throughout the southeast and in the U.S.
