Qualtrax has been continuing to grow, and with that we have two new team member that we are excited to introduce: Ashton Fallen and Luke Mazzu. Each of them has written up a quick introduction to themselves that you can read below.
Ashton is joining us as a Sales Development Representative and wanted you to know this about her:
Hello! My name is Ashton Fallen and I’m joining the Qualtrax team as the Sales Development Representative. I am excited to work in this company and learn about the software and technology industry. Prior to my position at Qualtrax, I worked for a 501(c)3 non-profit organization headquartered in Roanoke, VA that provides water and wastewater assistance to rural communities. During my time there, I had the opportunity to collaborate with universities across the United States by coordinating volunteer opportunities and fostering a spirit of volunteerism through various alternative break programs.
Outside of my role with Qualtrax, I have a passion for international development and in particular, with Africa. I currently serve as a Board Member for Kimoyo, a non-profit organization that provides economic development assistance to women in Ghana through a microfinance program, a soccer literacy program, and healthcare projects. I love learning about culture and understanding how international aid can impact citizens in developing countries.
In my spare time you will find me at the park playing with my son or spending time with my family and friends. I am so excited about this amazing opportunity to join the Qualtrax team and I cannot wait to see what is in store as this company continues to grow.
Our other new member, Luke, is our newest Software Engineer. He had this to say:
Hey everyone. I’m incredibly excited to join the Qualtrax team working with such an awesome product with so many passionate people. My joining is a continuation of my internship with the company last summer where I learned to love what Qualtrax stood for and the people behind it.
This will be my first job since graduating this year with a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. I cannot wait to take advantage of everything this company has to offer in terms of opportunity, learning, and growth. I also cannot wait to give back just as much to this team and product. I know I’m incredibly lucky to have found such a small team with such large ideals. I hope to become an integral member in the coming years.
In my spare time I enjoy running (more than most), cooking and eating (definitely more than most), and trying new things. I hope to travel as much as possible these next few years since I have never been outside the U.S. and want to see as much as the world as possible.
I run enough to know one thing: No company runs as well as Qualtrax.
See you all out there!
Once again, please join me in welcoming Ashton and Luke to the team. We are excited and grateful to have them!
