New and Updated Forensic Crime Lab Grant Funding Opportunities

In case you missed it, the NIJ is hosting a webinar tomorrow (1:30pm EST) on grant funding opportunities for publicly funded crime laboratories.
The topics include 2017 changes to traditional grant programs, like Coverdell, DNA CEBR, and research and Evaluation for the Testing and Interpretation of Physical Evidence in Publicly Funded Forensic Laboratories. But equally important will be the introduction of a 4th, new funding vehicle: the Forensic DNA Laboratory Efficiency Improvement and Capacity Enhancement program (or DNA EI&CE, for those who need one more acronym in their lives).
This is a great opportunity to not only learn about these updates, but hear recommendations for how best to apply and win. Time will be devoted to the aims of solicitations; application successes, expectations and requirements; as well as the review process.
