Meet Our New Sales & Marketing Employees!

Things have been busy in our compliance world, which is why we’ve welcomed several new people into our Qualtrax family. Take a minute to get to know all our new employees, specifically those in our Sales and Marketing department!
Hello, my name is Jim Woods and I am the new Director of Marketing at Qualtrax. 
For the past 17 years I have spent my time crafting and maintaining the brand identities for Tetra, Marineland, Instant Ocean, GloFish, Aquatech, and Jungle. This allowed me the opportunity to work directly with retailers like Wal-Mart, Petsmart, Petco, Lowes, Target, and Amazon as well as licensed products with Disney and Nickelodeon. I spend my extra time speaking at national and regional conferences and influencing young minds at Radford University teaching graphic design. I am looking forward to using my experience to help Qualtrax exceed expectations!
Outside of work my family and I enjoy traveling in our RV, hitting as many National and State parks as we can. I am also Conan O’brien’s stunt double, if he did stunts.

Hi! My name is Cody Kestner and I’m thrilled to join the Qualtrax team as a Sales Development Representative. 
Most of my professional career has been in the electronics sales and management space, dealing primarily with the services and cellular space. After spending many good years in the retail environment, I’m excited to dive deeper into the software side of things and bring some of my passion and energy to the team! I’m honored to be a part of this company’s journey as it evolves and prospers, and I hope to learn and grow alongside it.
Outside of the office, you can find me in my studio writing music, gaming with some of my close friends, or exploring the New River Valley with my awesome wife!

Nice to meet everyone, my name is Matt Cruz. 
I am a HUGE video game fanatic, I have a wonderful baby girl that celebrated her first year on Earth in October. I have 2 GIANT brahma chickens at home, Ethel & Gretchen (Google it). I am now truly excited to come to work every morning and feel so grateful to be apart of the Qualtrax family! Fun fact about me, I’m ranked in the top 1000’s of players in the video game NBA 2k19 & former pro Hearthstone player.

Hello everyone, my name is AJ Kurtz.
I come to Qualtrax after working in software and for a clinical lab. I consider myself a career salesperson and am thrilled to be a part of the Qualtrax mission. My greatest loves are my wife, daughter (4), son (2), and our third baby on the way in March. I enjoy playing soccer (as I’ve played all my life) and love being outdoors!
