The Qualtrax Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for assisting the Marketing Strategist in executing the marketing strategy through tactical execution of integrated communications campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to write clear, compelling copy for various mediums. This role requires a brand publisher mindset: create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion. In addition to content creation this individual will be involved in overall execution of marketing priorities, such as tradeshows, events, website, etc. He or she will have a passion for executing campaigns and measuring success. The ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional with a writing background; he or she must be able to prioritize tasks so they are completed in a timely manner.



  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention
  • Assist with website content creation and optimization, including:
    • Keen understanding of website optimization and how to create site conversions
    • Creation of relevant and educational content for target markets
    • Management of blog
  • Execute website changes approved by the Marketing Director
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
  • Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
  • Creation of white papers and driving topics for other authors
  • Regular creation of press releases, new customer announcements, success stories and circulation of releases to targeted publications and online outlets, including Qualtrax website
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing social audience
  • Assist with creation and edits of literature and presentations
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of the annual Qualtrax user conference
  • Update company listings in industry directories
  • Help to make sure the Qualtrax brand is being used consistently used in all materials and media, i.e. correct logo, colors and fonts
  • Script and direct short product tours and tutorials to aid sales and services team efforts
  • Maintain records of campaign data, reporting to the Marketing Director on results of campaigns
  • Must be able to give effective presentations to management, company and possibly customers
  • Providing content ideas for social media
  • Assist with coordinating and managing all trade show activities
  • Be a sparring partner to the Marketing Director in developing tactical plans
  • Be the voice and advocate for the company’s purpose and mission
  • Share insights and experience in team and company discussions
  • Challenge the status quo


  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field and three years of related experience
  2. Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  3. Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  4. Microsoft Office programs
  5. Adobe Acrobat Writer/Reader
  6. Microsoft Dynamics or CRM
  7. Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics and top social channels
  8. Ability to use tools like Hootsuite
  9. Adobe Photoshop, preferred not required
  10. Adobe In-Design, preferred not required
  11. Adobe Illustrator, preferred not required
  12. Able to work on a team or individually
    1. Highly self-motivated and self-directed
    2. Accepts and responds to feedback quickly and positively
