JUNIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Qualtrax is looking for a Junior Account Executive (AE) who is a natural hunter and is excited to work for a growing technology company. The primary role of the AE is to generate and close pipeline in target markets through solution selling. This role works with prospective customers to determine software and service requirements
and ensure Qualtrax is a good match for the customer’s needs. This role also works closely with Marketing to identify prospects, messaging, content creation, and
events to successfully identify and progress pipeline in target markets.

Our ideal candidate will have superb communication and relationship building skills and have 3-5 years’ experience in B2B SaaS software selling. Familiarity with ISO compliance is a plus, and experience or knowledge in working with laboratories. All applicants should demonstrate a passion for learning about the industries we serve and the important role of quality and compliance. They will demonstrate independent decision making and time management skills, with the ability to take
ownership of projects and see the results of their efforts. Ideal candidates would have experience and a comfortability in working the full sales lifecycle of
prospecting to closing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Junior AE will work in tandem with a senior account executive for a duration of time while learning our markets and product.
  • Works with the Sales and Marketing teams to define plans for lead and prospect generation. It is expected that the AE will self-prospect in addition to the leads provided via marketing.
  • Understand target markets and how Qualtrax benefits these markets to meet compliance and quality needs.
  • Ensure all communications and opportunity progression with leads and prospects and opportunity progress (both direct and via reseller) are kept current in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Help drive a cohesive sales and marketing approach to target markets.
  • Works with internal team to ensure marketing materials and tactics are on message.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Travel when necessary to visit prospects and customer locations to develop/maintain relationships. It is expected that regular travel will be required.
  • Works with Product team to communicate new features that may be beneficial in the product and help prioritize backlog.
  • Provide product feedback and competitor information from the field to the internal team.
  • Be the voice and advocate for the company’s purpose and mission.
  • Share insights and experience in team and company discussions.
  • Challenge the status quo.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • B.S. degree in Business Management or the equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of success in a SaaS (or full cycle) sales role
  • Experience selling to or within laboratories, preferred
  • Understanding of ISO compliance challenges and regulations within the industries Qualtrax serves
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to seek out and build lasting relationships
  • Able to work on a team or individually
    • Highly self-motivated and self-directed
    • Accepts and responds to feedback quickly and positively
