CONFERENCE SESSIONS - (Download full conference agenda)
This year we’ll be using a training approach for a majority of the conference time. Attendees will have a chance to dig deeper into the product and leave the conference with a more in-depth understanding of how Qualtrax can be used more effectively within your organization. Best practices and software tips and tricks will be integrated into each session as specific features and functionality are being discussed. We encourage you to bring a laptop to each session.
Qualtrax Organization and Development
During this time, the Qualtrax team will bring you up to speed on some of the new and exciting changes we’ve made to our organization. We want you to understand our new Agile development and testing methodology, its immediate impact on quality, our improved mechanism for requirements gathering, and how you can help with the process. We also want to introduce you to some new faces who are key in our new development process.
Qualtrax 101: Help, I’m new!
Are you new to the product or lack the confidence that a “power user” has? If you don’t quite “speak the language,” you’ve come to the right place. This is a great time to interact with other users and members of our team so you can walk away from this conference with a greater understanding of the software. What’s the difference between a permission and a security? We’ll review questions like these during this session. If you have other questions or areas of confusion you’d like to have addressed during this session, send it to Katie Gignac so we can make sure it gets addressed: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Application Session: Workflow Training
This will be broken into several different sessions ranging in length. We’ve found that our customers are using workflows in a variety of ways and in varying degrees of complexity. During these sessions we will help you develop a workflow. Bring your laptop to this session, and come prepared with a process that you would like to make electronic and more efficient. During the week, there will be several opportunities to configure your workflow and discussion will include opportunities to expand out of the box functionality. Version 3.8 and 4.x users are all welcome!
Application Session: Training & Testing
This session will help you understand the capabilities of Qualtrax training and testing. Tracking employee awareness and comprehension are critical aspects of any compliance program. From rolebased new-hire requirement to ongoing renewal of training tasks, we’ll show you what the product can do. During this session, there will be time to ask questions about this functionality.
Application Session: Custom Integration & Custom Scripts
Are you looking at integrating Qualtrax with other software packages you’re using within your organization? Do you need reports to calculate data in a special way? Come to this session to learn about some of our different custom development successes. We want to know how you’d like to integrate Qualtrax with other systems and offer suggestions on how we can make your outside-the-box requests a reality for your company.
Application Session: Document Control
If you’re in compliance with a regulatory standard, you’re probably using document control the exact same way as every other Qualtrax user, right? Maybe. We want to review document control best practices to make sure you’re getting the most out of your document management processes. We’ll review document headers/footers, tamper flag, multi-department or site layout considerations, permissions, and more.
Application Session: Reporting
In this session we will review Qualtrax reporting capabilities. We’ll discuss common reporting setups, show you how to schedule report instances, explain the difference between custom and standard reporting, and give some training on how you can use reporting more effectively. Come see what the product has to offer.
Round Table Discussions
During these sessions, customers and Qualtrax team members will be broken in to small groups to discuss various topics around industry challenges and trends as well as product uses. During these times, the users will also discuss best practices and potential areas for product improvement as it pertains to each round table’s topic. Roundtable topics will be industry specific (e.g. manufacturing, food, laboratories).
Migration: Making the Move from 3.8 to 4.x
In this session we will discuss migration from the 3.8 platform to 4.x. If you are a 3.8 customer, this is a great opportunity to come and learn about what is involved in the migration of your current system. There will be time to ask questions about what to expect when moving to the 4.x platform.
Version 3.8: Open Forum
This session is for our customers on the 3.8 platform and will offer tips, discussion, and help for users. Join other users and us for a discussion on new and different ways to approach the system.
Partner Presentation: Auditing
This session features AuditMatic, a new Qualtrax partner. AuditMatic is an easy-to-implement mobileworker task management, data collection, and decisions support solution that replaces paper forms with handheld computers. AuditMatic enforces timely and complete operator rounds, ensures that best practices are followed by field workers and eliminates manual transcription into office systems. Come learn more about our up-and-coming audit capabilities and how this functionality can benefit your organization.
Support FAQs
During this session we will be reviewing some frequently asked questions that members of our support team often see in an effort to allow you to return to your business and proactively resolve potential issues before they arise or to accurately gauge existing problems others may not be communicating. We hope you’ll learn some new tips from this session, and then share them with your colleagues when you return to work.
Team Time: Interactive One-on-One Sessions
Need a break? Have a free minute? Come spend some one-on-one time with a member of our team. Members from our development and support teams will be available to answer any questions you have for them, offer feedback, or just get a little extra help. Demo computers will be available for hands-on context.
Case Study: GNP Company
Some of the most valuable information given at the annual user conference comes straight from our customer presenters. Learn how customers such as GNP Company are using Qualtrax in their organizations. GNP Company, located in Minnesota, has taken document management to a new level. See how they’re managing their documents in innovative and unique ways, as well as ensuring the corporate document control program is being consistently followed.
Case Study: Acadiana
Laurette Rapp from Acadiana Crime Lab is an ASCLD auditor and the current president of AFQAM and LAFS. Laurette will be talking about common audit findings and how Qualtrax can address these findings. In addition, Laurette will talk about how Qualtrax has helped the Acadiana Crime Lab outside of audit needs.
*Additional Training: Half day
This additional half day of comprehensive training is available for both Administrative and User functionality on our demo site unless access to your system is available. This additional training will be tailored to your system and needs and is being offered to customers for only 1/10 of the regular price.
